Open heart surgeries
Successful open heart surgeries of Kainat Gulzar and Allen Akram took place on 12th October’ 2009 at the Aga Khan University Hospital.
They have now recovered and are doing well.

Eid festival on 21st September’ 2009
EID was celebrated on 21st September 2009. Mrs. Shabina Mustafa Distributed food, ration, cloths and “Eidi” to all the students.

Quiz competition by Rotaract on 08th Aug’ 2009
Rotaract Club of Karachi on 08th Aug’2009 organized a quiz programme for The Garage School. Komal organized the maths quiz competition. The children were later on given prizes.

Scholarship Offered by Finlinx, Canada
Scholarship offered to two students from The Garage School Rs. 25,000/- each.
This amount will be put in term deposit for five years in the Bank. The interest will be given to the student as an incentive to pursue their studies.
This scholarship will help to promote meritorious students of The Garage School.

Inauguration of Matric Programme 15th May,09
The Matric program was inaugurated on the 15th May, 09 by Ms. Sadia Naveed, Director Operation, English Biscuit Manufacturers Private Limited. The theme of the program was “Andharey Sey Ujaley Ki Tarf Pehla Qadam”( First step from darkness into the light)
