Guru Nanak’s Birthday

Sikh FestivalOn Saturday, November 24th 2007, we visited Gurdwara Guru Granth Saheb in Ranchore Lines, Karachi to celebrate the birthday of Guru Nanak, the first saint of the Sikh religion. About 500 people gathered there in a room where in the center one of the priests was constantly reading the religious book “Guru Granth Saheb”. There are certain rituals that are followed.
