The Garage School: Need for Expansion

Every month The Garage School (TGS) pays Rs 120,000 ($1395) as rent for its existing campus. Up to 400 students are cramped in a 3600 square feet space. On average 90 students are enrolled annually in TGS, further creating a shortage of space. We need to expand immediately!

Sadia Dada from Nestle, 13th January, 2012

Sadia Dada, Manager Corporate Communication, Nestle, came to visit our school on the 13th of January 2012. Nestle donates milk to The Garage School students on a regular basis and hence Sadia’s visit was of vital importance to our school.

…And we made the bloggers dance!

Pakistan Blog Awards took place on the 23rd of December, 2011, where The Garage School was invited to perform. Organized by CIO, Pakistan, the theme for this year’s annual event was “Colors of Pakistan”.

Cricket Fever!

The students of The Garage School were invited to watch the final of the Quaid-e-Azam trophy cricket match between the domestic teams of PIA and Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited on the 20th of December, 2011.

Condolence

Mr. Athar Ahmad, Mrs. Shabina Mustafa’s brother, passed away in Dubai, U.A.E. on Saturday, 10th December 2011 at 10 pm. He was suffering from brain tumor.
